Buy the rack mount kit.
The PM2/2R/2e/2eR don't have the built in mounting ears AND DRILLING THEM
WILL NOT WORK! The reason they do not have them is the internal structure
was not designed for it. Don't make them. I can't think of a faster way
to void any service agreements or warranties on the unit than to modify the
hardware.
Later units have the built in mounting holes. Someday we'll either do a
major revision on the PM-2 family and add it or there will be a replacement
product with them.
In the meantime there is the rack mount kit (basically a shelf the PM fits
snugly into.
