As far as I have seen, I have been the only one to call them Portmonsters.
But that is not a derrogatory statement. Think of what monsters are. THey
are quite powerful, unstoppable, they crush their competition. They make
everthing else look small in comparison. So I consider Portmasters the
Godzilla of Terminal Servers!
And if anyone else calls them portmonsters, them great! Everything needs a
good Nick Name. Like Nuscrape 3.0, Windoze, etc, but the nuick needs to
match the thing or person.
My wife's favorite is Gin and Tonic, Jr. for Harry Connick, Jr.
