Though you have good reasons for taking that stance right now, it would be a
good thing for Livingston to make some kind of official statement in the not
to distant future about this new "technology".
Since Livingston is soon to be a modem vendor and many potential PM3 buyers
are having to make decisions that they can at least hope to be long-term, it
would help if we got some official assurance that Livingston feels that they
will also
go down this road once standards are set and that the path for the
PM3 would be software only.
I realize you may have a hard time right now doing this, but from the
marketing standpoint
it could help.
