Once upon a time Rick Osteen shaped the electrons to say...
>Below is a stat from 9am to 4:15pm (same day) ... 7k per day?

You're not reading it right.

>2832:0 176:1 160:1 2048:0 1152:0 640:2 64:1 80:4 96:1 112:0 128:0 272:5 144:2
>2832:0 176:1 160:1 2048:0 1152:0 640:2 64:1 80:5 96:1 112:0 128:2 272:5 144:3

Note the differences.

If the PM assigns a certain 'shelf' in RAM it does not dump it back into the
memory pool when done. It figures it will probably need it again. See that
you have some new assigned blocks in the second listing - 80, 128, and 144

Think of it as a high water mark in a way. This does not happen daily, it
happens until the unit its high use and then levels out.

This accounts for some of that difference. The rest is just flux - it
will keep changing depending on the number of calls (buffer), etc.

If you have less than 100K free I'd keep an eye on it, but don't sweat.
If it drops below 50K free, then I'd seriously consider an upgrade.
