I wouldn't bother. When you call and drop all your lines, they'll know
one thing: "wow, there sure is a lot of extra pairs in that bundle
now". These old Monopolies can't figure out they are in competitive
environments now. Now, if the alternative telcos are just too damn
slow to getting around to there, it looks like you could really make
enough money to consider the costs of getting all the BullShtuff to
become your own telco, with your own hardware.

Well, lawyers = power. BS is in the pocket of every state PUC they
have lines in.
Hell, I get emails from my users to the tune of "uum, phone lines suck,
ISDN will never get here, how about some alternative delivery" about
twice a day.
