We are trying to setup a filter for our normal dial up lines that
will block people trying to telnet to our customer computers & running
their own FTP & Web Server. We have had to take this action as we have
discovered a few of our customers distrubuting Warz cd's. We would like
to selectively apply this filter to the offending customers. The filter
must not block normal Internet activity (browse www, ftp from sites, IRC,
mail, news telnet out,... etc.)
Spoofing attempts should also be blocked plus that thing where they
bombard a site with icmp requests to make a server fall over.
I tried to set up a filter but failed hopelessly, this may be
because we have serveral class-c's :-((
Our network is on 194.207.68.0
Our Dial-up lines are on 194.207.69.0
Our filter, going of livingstons examples, only let them log in and they
couldn't do anything else.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Regards,
Anthony
