Framing errors?

I noticed one of my ports on my pm30 had close to 20,000 framing errors. I replaced the
modem and will continue to monitor the errors. My question is, Could this be causing a
user on that line to get disconnected?

What is a framing error? Is there a way to clear/reset the errors other then turning off
the pm30?
