Modem hangup delays

I'm having a wierd problem that I think is a Portmaster problem.

First off, what is the latest rev on the motherboard and async cards for
the PM2E?

I just moved 20 modems from a remote POP location to my office. I set up
the equipment at my office using a used Portmaster I just purchased, and a
brand new USR MP/16. I also put the MP/16 from the remote location on the
used Portmaster.

When I dial into the either of the MP/16s with a regular phone, and then
hang up, the modem doesn't go back on hook for 15 to 30 seconds.

I have another Portmaster, along with an MP/16, and an MP/8, at a POP at
my home. These modems go back on hook instantly when I hang up a call to
them.

I have all 3 MP/16s and the MP/8 running the same flash code and init
strings. All portmasters are running 3.3.2c1. I formatted the config
flash on the used Portmaster as soon as I got it.

Is there a setting on the Portmaster that would cause this type of
behavior?

I did talk with US Robotics and got nothing from them.
