I use the modem table feature and I've been successfully using:
AT&F&C1&D3S0=1L0M0&Y0
After the modems have been reset with this, I manually save the
configuration with AT&W. I don't put the &W in the modem table
init string due to wearing out the flash RAM, blah, blah, blah.
