PM2e and PM2er hate each other

Just recently installed a PM2e on the same segment as a existing PM2er. If
I telnet to our system I am able to ping both the ether0 on either box. If
I telnet into the PM2e and ping the PM2er it is not found. If I telnet into
the PM2er and ping the PM2e that box is not found. Each of the boxes should
be able to see each other shouldn't they????

What am I doing wrong?
