That is nice and thanks for sharing it with us. But it does not approach
the functionality of the up arrow command. Lets say you were doing a
lengthy and witty "set all prompt --Welcome to XYZ Computing..." and that
stretched over a line or so and you made a mistake. Well you certainly
don't want to "!!" and repeat your mistake. What would be useful is an
up arrow command so you could go back one, edit the line, and then issue
the corrected line. Not to mention you save a keystroke on simple
repeats. I'm sure this would be simple to implement, if you are already
storing last command somewhere for the "!!". I bet what you aren't saying
is that there is an RFE already on this one.
BTW, got a PM-3 and love it. Good work guys.
