It is very normal. It is called NFAS (non facility associated
singalling).
If you read the PM3 FAQ (which everyone should), you will see that
sharing the D-channel for multiple spans is not supported right now.
Send a RFE to support@livingston.com for NFAS support. NFAS seems quite
simple, so it should be easy to implement.
