We have 120 lines hooked up using CAT5. Works great for us. We use
regular CAT5 and buy RJ45-DB25 heads. The wiring is pretty
straightforward, but it does depend on the terminal server (I have so
far seen 2 different types not including null modem variations), but
usually near the back of the terminal server manual there are wiring
diagrams to help you out.
