PM3 Problems

This is my first Portmaster so I'm sure that some of this is just related
to me not knowing what I'm doing yet :-) but I'd appreciate some help.
I'm running ComOS 3.5c1.

- I used DNS aliases and IP addresses to specify things like the loghost
and radius server. When I do show global, everything has been transformed
from in to the machines real hostnames. I don't think that's a terribly
good thing to do -- if I put in an alias or an IP it's because that's
what I wanted :-) Is there a way to fix that?

- I'm not terribly clear on how "set assigned" works. I've allocated
199.84.52.192/26 (a 64 host block). I did a "set assigned 199.84.52.193".
Does the PM3 just take the first 48 ports starting with 193? How do I get
the PM3 to broadcast the 199.84.52.192/26 (via OSPF)?

- I don't have the PRI's installed but the PM3 has the following in
"show ospf links". Note the very odd netmasks...

External Links for All Areas
Link ID Advertising Router Sequence TOS Ext Age Mask
--------------- ------------------ ---------- --- --- ---- ----
199.84.52.208 199.84.54.41 0x8000000a No Yes 91 28
199.84.52.224 199.84.54.41 0x8000000a No Yes 91 28
199.84.52.193 199.84.54.41 0x8000000a No Yes 91 32
199.84.52.194 199.84.54.41 0x8000000a No Yes 91 31
199.84.52.196 199.84.54.41 0x8000000a No Yes 91 30
199.84.52.200 199.84.54.41 0x8000000a No Yes 91 29

I don't know where it's coming up with those.

- I set the network range for OSPF area 0.0.0.0 to 199.84.54.32/28, the
network that the PM3 is on. When I do "show routes", routes are imported
from OSPF for the whole 199.84.54/24. I assume it shouldn't have done that.

Also, there are lots of networks specified in the backbone area. How do
I make sure all of them get imported? I tried adding additional networks
via "set ospf area 0.0.0.0 range X/Y" and they are shown in "show ospf
areas" but do not appear in my routing table.

Anyway, that's enough fun for one day :-)

Thanks.

Evan
