Yeah... Normal negotiation sequence:
Dec 14 23:21:4 pm4.wmbg.widomaker.com dialnet: port S19 PPP succeeded dest
Negotiated
Dec 14 23:21:4 pm4.wmbg.widomaker.com dialnet: port S19 ppp:dusty succeeded
dest 206.161.154.109
Dec 14 23:21:4 pm4.wmbg.widomaker.com dialnet: port S19 connection succeeded
dest pm4-12.wmbg.widomaker.com
However, when a user doesn't authenticate correctly, you just see PPP
succeeded dest Negotiated. I've verified this on the phone with users,
where I hear them dial in and get connected, then get a message saying
re-enter password, but all I see on this end is PPP succeeded etc. I even
went so far as to turn on debugging 0x51 and capture the PPP_AUTH_REQ
packet. The username and password are there (most of the time with a
password in all caps... damn cap key) and the PM sends a NAK but it never
gets logged.
