PM3A-2E: Von Jacobsen Header compression between pm3, cisco and ascend

Hi,

we have a PM3A-2E (Portmaster 3 with 2xPRI - version for Europe).
S/N: 2D00050, E/A: 00-C0-05-04-01-D9

There is one E1 interface connected to it.


The PM3 is a nice baby - I like it very - but it seems to have some
young problems (I do not like them so).


The PM3 and Cisco 2503 or Ascend P50 Router can not commit the VJ compression.
"Protocol: PPP                   Options: Quiet, Compression"

Do I need any special settings for pm3 / cisco 2503i / ascend p50 ? 


It would be great if Livigston could test portmasters/ComOS with other
standards router products (like cisco, ascend etc) and 
offer some working configuration's examples on web-pages.
(e.g. pm3 - cisco, pm3 - ascend etc.)
