What would you use BGP for on a Portmaster or IRX?
Single homed or dual/multi homed (connected to more than one Internet
Access Provider)?
What would you want to advertise, if anything, to routers within your
network about connectivity information learned via BGP?
If multi-homed, what preferences based on BGP path information would
you like to be able to make on the choice of which 'home' to forward a
particular datagram to?
What kind of needs, if any, do you have to forward information learned
from your Internet BGP peer to other BGP speaking routers within your
own network?
Reminder: This is a solicitation for information, not a commitment to
implement any or all or only the features discussed in the replies.
