All devices show a very low collision rate (less than 1%). However, all
devices show (via collision LED) almost constant collisions. If I unplug
the first portmaster (PM1) this activity stops, even if PM2 is heavily
loaded.

We have already tested this. It doesn't make any difference.

We are running 3.3.2c1. We had an opportunity to reboot this thing a day
ago and didn't fix anything.
