I appreciate your feedback on the Configuration Guide for PortMaster
Products. I agree; it isn't always consistent regarding the method of
configuration -- PMconsole vs. command line. This Guide is scheduled for a
series of revisions next year; one of our objectives is to make that
distinction clear.
Livingston recently released the Command Line Administrator's Guide,
dedicated specifically to configuration via the command line interface.
This Guide contains ComOS commands through ComOS release 3.5. Copies are
available at our www and ftp sites:

If you're configuring the PM using PMconsole for Windows, you may find the
PMconsole for Windows Administrator's Guide helpful. It is also available
on the WWW at http://www.livingston.com, or at our ftp site at
ftp.livingston.com/pub/le/doc/manuals/admwin.ps.Z.
If you have additional suggestions for Livingston documentation, feel free
to send them to doc@livingston.com.

>I have some questions about routing, and a beef with the "Configuration
