FW: Bad PPP Protocol Errors

We've got over a dozen Ascend P50's out there connecting to our =
Portmasters and all of a sudden one guy is getting the following error:

ppp_recv (S23): Bad PPP Protocol

Granted he is different from our other users in that he has to take the =
connection down and dial another site with one of the channels every so =
often, but yesterday we had it working ok, then with no changes being =
made today we are all of a sudden generating the above error. Any ideas?

What actually happens is that the first channel (S22) will connect ok =
and stay connected, but when I try to bring the second channel (S23) up =
the first channel drops and the second channel generates the errors.
