Yes, and Yes. Caused me to implement some route filtering in my Compatible
Systems boxen.

Does 3.5 include route filtering? I haven't seen any mention of it in the
release notes. I have a subnet routed via POTS on a modem pool, and I
need to hear the advertizement for that; OTOH, I'm running proxy-arp
on the pool, and I don't need to hear the individual PPP address
announcements. I'm filtering at my aggregation router (the CS) but
I'd rather keep the noise off the ethernet in the first place.
