I've got a question about how the Portmasters (pm25) use the radius
server look up set up in the os. What I'm wondering is how the
lookup for auth. is handled and if I can get the server to do what I'm
thinking. We have two POP's and one main Radius server. How does the
PM do look up on the primary Radius and the secondary? If I have a PM
in site "a" and one in site "b" and have two radius servers in site "a"
and site "b" and have the PM set to look at site "a" then "b" if it
can't reach "a" and vice versa.. What I'm wondering is if I enter a
user into radius "a" and not into radius "b", if PM "b" looks local at
radius "b" it will not find the user... but will it try radius "a",
since it gets a answer from "b"? I'm trying to build a network that
will have a central radius server so that my users can use it anyware
without having to call us to set it up... I just don't want to pull all
the users through one connection if I don't have to. Thanks in
advance. Richard Mehner home@micronet.net
