OSPF -> chaos

Recently, BellSouth reorganized all our ISDN lines forcing me to change
all the spids in our PM2ei. While I was at it, I removed all directory
numbers. Tonight, I enabled OSPF (running comos 3.5) and did the
following:

set ospf enable
save all
reboot

set ospf priority 1
add ospf area 0
set ospf area 0 range 205.229.48.0/24 quiet
set ospf area 0 external on
set ether0 ospf on

After the above reboot, all my S ports went back to the old configuration
(from several save all and reboots ago) with old spids and old dir numbers
forcing me to drive into the office at 1:30am saturday morning to get the
spid list to reprogram them all again. WTF happened? How did it get all
the old info back if I'd done numerous save all's before this with the new
spids and no dir numbers set?
