If cycling power doesn't bring it back, it probably isn't a hung session.

Log on to it via a serial port and do a "sho glob". I'll bet you find
the telnet access port set to something other than 23.

set telnet 23
save all

Should fix it. You can, of course specify a different port as a
security measure. You just have to remember which one. :-O
