Modem issues are universal - the beta code for chanT1 has full PRI support.
3.5.1b8 is just 3.5c6+chanT1, and it went from there. I don't see anymore
'c' patch releases coming out before 3.5.1 ships, so the 3.5.1b releases
will be the ones to try if needed.

Right now the modem code in the public betas is the same as was in c6,
but when b17/18 comes out that will have the new code.
