Never heard of KTX myself, but there are many Sportster 14.4K modems that
won't connect to a PM-3. Why? Signalling issues on the Sportster.
In the next beta release we've tweaked our modem code and we have achieved
connects with Sportsters that previously would not connect. Watch for b17
(possibly b18) to appear. There are other issues being worked on that the
release is waiting on.
We had a similar problem with the early OR-M software - we code our drivers
so cleanly and to spec that when some other vendor misses the mark we're
sometimes not forgiving enough. So, ironically, we have to loosen up to
work with them...
