PM2e on fiber

Anyone running PM2s on fiber lines? We just moved into our new building
which is total fiber and can not get a 28.8 connection. I have made a
few changes to the Portmasters (although I can't imagine why I would
need to do) with no luck. The fiber is converted to cooper for the PM2s
and the modem handshakes seem to go well. Anyone got any suggestions to
get the PM2s back up to speed until we get our PM3s in?
