This is true and this is also why when I get people basing traceroute and
ping times using a win box and trying to compare them to some other term
server, I tell them to use a conforming traceroute and ping to compare
apples and apples. Remember the latency issue someone brought up with Pm 2
pings versus pm 3 pings. They were comparing a 32 byte win ping packet to
a 64 byte unix ping packet.
