Sure we do - our PM3 is connected to a German Siemens switch. Which is less
deterministic than any test equipment. And it's working. I'd really like to
know where you're buying your black magic (and what curses will befall me if
I'll ever take a look at the motherboard).

I always like these "performance tests". Do people really believe that
(their) reality can be simulated? Besides: You'll never see the weak points
(ComOS rather cruel user interface or Ascend's really obscure error messages
(in combination with no option for real debugging output)) in this kind of
reports - and they can break your neck easily. The only way to test these
things is running them for half a year; that's why there is only Livingston
an d Cisco left in our machine rooms.
