Hmmm. Expensive project. Does the client have $60k for the uplink waiting
to go? We recently built a C-band digital uplink with used equipment for a
radio station to deliver audio, and the gear itself (used) was $35k. You
might try the Boardwatch website for some tips / leads. Seems to me that
they ran an article discussing many of the international satellite-based
networking providers a few (3-4) months ago. Could have been another trade,
but my recollection of the article content is that it was decidedly
Boardwatch-ish. In any event, it had a list of names and contact info for
these firms.
