Okay, sorry if I seem a little dull here. But _turning_ on retrain will
result in less disconnects. The strange thing is that one of our users
(who has the same modem as you I believe, Supra Express PnP, though
external) says that everytime his retrain light starts to blink his
connection is dropped. Tried the init string to turn off retrain - it
didn't work, the light still goes on and the connection still drops. I
will have him try turning on the retrain anyways like you suggested and
see if it does anything.
