Glad to hear it (it's been needed for a long time - About 6 months ago I
had requested just such a beast or at least some software which could
implement multi-line load balancing on a PM2E). The hardware we are
working with DOES NOT require anything special other than the modems so it
is a retrofit to any EXISTING system ( yes - even ASCEND <sorry - had to
say it ...>). The only requirement is the serial port the modem is
connected to can handle 115.2k (which most can) but even if the serial port
can only handle 57.6k you can push it right to the limit. The implication
is even greater than ISP operation ... This system is capable of replacing
a 56K Leased line for local operations (within the same local calling area)
or long-distance dial on demand applications) hince the reason NOT to tell
the telcos <grin>...
