The idea is that the customer places 1 to 3 modem calls to the ISP and the
Ramp box muxes the bandwith together for everyone on the LAN to share. (I
guess it's a low-budget Pipeline 50 type of solution--especially if the
RBOC is billing by the call, not the minute).
Has anyone played with this beast? Is it fact or fiction?
Does it connect to portmasters well?
