--> Problem:
Sometimes we'll get an immediate connection, sometimes it takes a while
(few minutes to over an hour) to connect. Some of the problems that
we've encountered is that if the
connection is OK, the terminal freezes up as if the connection is lost,
and this is not from idletime. After several attempts at hitting newline
sometimes we'll get our connection back sometimes we end up closing out
the session.
When I dialout and it doesn't connect, a "show s1" reveals "no circuit
available" on the Modem Status.
USWest tech ran his test and the line tested OK and was told that some
areas are being saturated and that the lines are being used to capacity.
Is there anyone else out there who had dealt with USWest in this
particular region and had a similar experience?
