Nah, the problem is that Livingston wrote the modem code in the PM3
*exactly* to spec and there are so many *stupid* modem makers out there
and stupid users who buy those stupid modems (note the high usage of
stupid) which don't work to spec usually which causes big problems.

It's unfortunate that the modem makers can't screw their heads on
straight.

Livingston, how far into June will we have to wait for the modem upgrade?
What about shipping the new modem cards with the new code now if Lucent
only has to finish the K56Flex part of the code?
