vernon-pm1 PM2E-30 with 30 US Robotics Courier modems
vernon-pm2 PM2E-30 with 30 US Robotics Courier modems
vernon-pm3 PM2E-10 with 10 US Robotics Courier modems
vernon-pm4 PM3-2T with one ISDN PRI (23 lines)
Now, we all know about the v.42 dictionary size problem that is giving
slower ping times on the PM3 so we won't worry about that for now (Is
there a fix yet, Livingston?) But, these users are saying they get much
better ping times out of vernon-pm3 than vernon-pm1 or vernon-pm2. The
ComOS is the same in all three machines (3.3.3). They are on the same
ethernet segment, on the same class C. I hope that I'm not experiencing
latency because of the load on a PM2E with 30 modems as compared to one
with 10 modems. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
