(PM) PM3's and Quake

Hi there -
We have recently set-up a pair of PM-3's at a telco C.O. (to get very good rates
on PRI's and to be able to get calls from nearby areas where they are doing the
CLEC thing). Both have the Stac compression card. Running Com-OS 3.8 [I
miss the green lights on the MicroCom modems.]

Some of our gamers are complaining that the "ping" time has gone up as compared
to our old PM-2's.

We do have a couple of routers now, where we only had one, but I see something
like 160 to 180 ms through the PM-3. Sometimes is goes up to 2 seconds.

Some users report that their modems are going real slow, even the 33.6 k kind.

Most are very happy.

I am open to suggestions.
