Oh sure use a 1 word answer that's WRONG... ;) okay okay j/k...

There is _no_ way to reset the i/o counters internally on the PMx, other
than to power cycle or reboot.

You could use one of the utilities that use SNMP or the Java tools (uhm,
maybe not I haven't used them so I'm not sure if they work on PM2s...)
anyway, use that to handle it's own counters which are base-lined versus
the ones on the PM2.
