(PM) Setting up a dial-back session from PM3 to WinNT & Win9x

Greetings all,

I've finally made some solid headway in my dial back problem - got the telco
to really set the lines for dial-out.. "really they are set, we promise!"

And I can actually manually initiate a dialback session and have the line
answer on the other end. But I'm still not making a connection, here's what
I am trying to do:

I want to configure the PM3 so that it establishes dedicated connections to
Win NT and eventually Win9x boxes, I also want to set it up to allow for
call back scenarios in cases where a dedicated connection is not needed.

What I have set up at the moment:

My Location on the PM3

pm1> show loc SMB
Location: SMB Type: Manual
Destination: 207.166.215.39 Netmask: 255.255.255.255
Protocol: PPP Options: Quiet, VJ-Comp, Analog
Group: 2 Max Ports: 1
Idle Timeout: 0 minutes High Mark: 0 bytes
Mtu: 1500 Async Map: 00000000
Username: colleen Password: XXXXXXXXX
Telephone: 3308779194

I'm fairly certain I'm lacking some of the fundamental networking issues
here (still sysadmin less and making due without at the moment).

I have it set for 10 digit because even though it is a local call, I have to
do 10 digit or it won't call out, I'm still taking this up with the telco
but personally feel 10 digit is aok by me.

On the other end I am dialing into an NT4 Server machine with RAS configured
to allow any form of password (clear text), and it's IP address is
207.166.215.39

Am I missing anything or have anything mis-configged?

We can get to the Win9x box once this is done ;)

On an off topic, what's it take to hear back from Livingston regarding PM3
leasing? My deadline for needing the new PM3 is getting very close.

Thanks a mil!
