What ComOS version? If they are set on the PortMaster and you have a
current version of ComOS the PM will pass them on.

The addresses are assigned round robin style. By doing this if a
customer get bumped due to line noise they can dial back in and get the
same address and possibly recover any open sessions depending on if the
socket got torn down or not.
