I've got a new signup that we're having problems getting connected. This is
a GMC dealer and they have some sort of satellite access through GMC corp.
They have a WinNT server on their LAN that they log on to. I've tried
installing DUN 1.3 and Winsock 2.? and still get networking errors when
attempting to connect to the PortMaster. The modem dials and connects fine,
it's when it tries to verify his account that it dies. In Control Panel |
Network | Client for MS Networks he has "Log on to NT domain" checked.
Unchecking it hasn't helped. I'm stumped. I've never had to mess with a
"Logged onto NT domain" client before. Does anyone have some clue I could
borrow here?
