If you set the modem up right (to follow dtr, etc...) they should reset
themselves when DTR is dropped which it is when a carrier is lost/dropped.

Weve used Supra's, Cardinals, Sportsters and they do NOT behave that way,
like when I tried some old PP modems, the ones with the LCD displays.
