Then the 'show netstats' can be very important. If I recall correctly the
PM3 will reboot if it detectes a certain number of errors on the ethernet
interface in a time frame.

Meltdown:
Collision rate above 30% and/or more than 1 Reset an hour with high rate of
Ierros and Oerrs.

Resets indicate that an ethernet device (NIC card, hub, etc.) has gone nuts
and is flooding the ethernet. The PortMaster reacts to this flow of garbage
data by resetting itself.

Though I think that is resetting the ethernet interface and not the
portmaster.
