I have been having some problems with our modems on CT1's. We have 2
pools one on CT1's and one on PRI's. Here is my ?. Do Lucent/Livingston
Boxes have any problems with CT1's? It seems that certain modem types (
3COM, USR, Supra, Rockwell, Some Lucent) Can't connect to the CT1 boxes
worth crap or do connect (28k to 31k), but the connect is so bad they
have really slow throuput. Give them the PRI Number, they have no
problems (48k to 50k). But the Cust. can go to a competier in the same
facility as the CT1's and connect with no problems. The only difference
is they are running Ascends. I have opened a ticket with support. Just
wonderin if any one has any ideas. All the boxes are running 3.8.1.
3boxes on CT1 and 1 on PRI. I am not trying to bitch and moan, just
wonderin if anyone else was experiencing this. TIA!
