(PM) 3Com 521 & PM3

We are moving customers from Ascend's (MAX 4000's) to PM3's. I have a
customer with the following type of hardware: 3 com 521 (3c410022),
Firmware V. 6.T2C (at least that is what he has told me - part of my
problem may be my extreme unfamiliarity with the 3Com line of products). He
connects fine to the old stuff (I assume he is using some sort of NAT type
feature as he just uses a standard dial-up profile) I notice he is coming in
as an MP type connection - but he says it doesn't work on the PM's - were
running ComOS 3.8.2 - and have already successfully cut over 100's of
customers using Pipelines, Netopias and other various products. Was
wondering if anyone had any secrets/hints/known problems with the 3Com 521
line of products that would stop him from logging in?
