Re: (PM) Multiple Pm2e on same Subnet

Typically, what is done is to configure each PM's ether0 with different IP
addresses from the subnet and with the same netmask. You then set the
gateway to the next hop you take to get to the internet. If you are
setting up address pools the address pools must not overlap between the two
portmasters. I do not recommend using static routes.

I need to configure two(2) PM2e-30s to use a subnet (64) of a CLASS C,
which I obtained from my local telco. The first one went OK and I can
browse the net etc. I have static routes in my routing table pointing to
that PM. The problem occurs when I add additional routes and try to point
them to a different PM. Can't browse or ping anything from a dial-up, not
even the one which was working before. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Regards, Richard
