You can use the PROPRIETARY load balancing that Livingston invented. It is
like mppp but it is a round robin sort of arrangement.

I dont think there is a practical limit.

Yes, but again, on the livingston async ports, it would HAVE to be to
another livingston because the async livingstons do NOT do MPPP, they
instead have Multi Line Load Balancing.
