Probably you are SLC'ed, pairgained, multiplexed, whatever you wanna call
it.

Tell em to try putting you on another pair from CO to you, on just 1 of the

You will not get 56k thruput because PCM modems rely on the fact that they
can control the line if they have a clean 8k path 1 way, i.e. from the CO to
the ISP.
