How about this part....

You know I grabed the ppp debug script and can run it locally. Must be
they want more fluff on the unit so it's even more brain-dead for
technicians. Again, I can see where it would be nice to have a LOT of
trouble-shooting tools available, but uhm, this begs the point that you
would expect problems to occur.
