(PM) Cisco 804 stac and multilink PPP connecting with PM3

I have a Cisco 804 I'm trying to configure to access my PM3 running the
latest ComOS - and from time to time the PM3 shows the 804 connected - but
no data is being transferred. The connection needs to be dropped and
re-established - and then things work "as they should".

I have "compress stac" and "ppp multilink" in the 804 configuration for
interface Dialer1 and BRI0

I did have a similar problem with BACP and stac with the Pipeline 75 - could
it be that the problem is with the Portmaster ComOS and not the hardware on
the remote end (ie: 804 or Pipeline 75?)..

Any words of advice?
